But the twist is that bows cost money and many of us don't have $800 to put into a bow, even though we would all like to. The good news about this is that there are some relatively cheap hunting bows out there and they are comparable to some of the more expensive and more advertised bows. It's like this in almost anything you do, there are always the more expensive options in life, but that doesn't mean it is the best or it is the right fit for you.
Online these days you can get cheap hunting bows with your whole setup from anywhere between $200 to $300. I am not just talking about generic brands either, but brands like Hoyt, Mathews, and PSE.They are mostly priced at $500 and up. I got an Hoyt MT Sport model a year go for just $200.
There are many more types of good deals out there and that cheap hunting bow was not even marked down. I use it for shoots at my archery club and I have effectively taken one deer with it already.
The bottom line is that you kind find name brand bows such as Browning, Golden Eagle, Bear, Pse and many others in a good price range. Many have kit options online and that saves you even more money! If you buy cheap hunting bows without any sights or an arrow rest, do not worry you can set your bow up easily with a 3 pin sight and a prong type arrow rest and you will have a very lethal set up.
So when someone says cheap hunting bows are not worth it or there is no such thing you will now know better.
