Oswego fishing is usually all about the trophy fishing, because they time after time bring in some huge fish. It's just that simple, it's a never ending hot spot to fish. They have pro am tournaments all the time, in fact just last month gander mountain presented a trout and salmon tournament on lake Ontario. This year, the Pulaski/Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce managed the tournament and surrounding festivities. With Gander Mountain coming on board as the title sponsor and the tremendous support from local and national sponsors, look for prize money to increase in the future as well.
Also there is the Lake Ontario challenge cup series too look forward too. So look into hitting up some of the best fishing water in the northeast this fishing season. Tourists never leave these waters unhappy, get a hold of a charter and they will make sure you have a good time and a good catch at the end of the day. Oswego fishing is a truly great experience.
