Govt Intesifies Hunting Down Of 40 Illegal Logging Financiers In Sumatra (Berita Sore)
Jakarta, ( Berita ) : Forestry Minister MS Kaban on Monday confirmed that the government will intensify the hunting down of 40 illegal logging financiers in 19 provinces in Kalimantan and Sumatra by stepping up coordination with the forestry ministry, police, prosecution office and other relevant authorities and agencies.

A man has been charged after a young boy apparently shot his 10-year-old cousin during a hunting trip in the Bay of Plenty in April. The boy had been on a hunting expedition with his six-year-old cousin and two men at Waikite Valley, about 30km south of Rotorua. The men's dogs had bailed up a pig.
