A Saskatchewan judge has ruled that a Métis man charged with fishing off-season in a northwestern area where he didn't live did not break any laws. On Friday, Meadow Lake provincial court Judge Earl Kalenith acquitted Ron Laviolette of fishing out of season at Green Lake four years ago.
