(RTTNews) - Friday, Wellington shares rose sharply, on bargain hunting, sustaining yesterday's gains. The benchmark NZX 50 index rose 49.85 points or 1.2% to 4,098.69, maintaining its course in the green between 4,048.83 and 4,099.72. Gainers outpaced losers by 66 to 37, while 37 issues ended flat.
