A 68-year-old man who had gone fishing with two friends overnight drowned in a mining pool near Kampung Gajah, 75 km from here. The body of Abdul Rahman Saaun was found in the pool along Jalan Changkat Pinggang in Ayer Kuning by passers-by at 7.30 am, a police spokesman said.
