How a Bumper Sticker Lead to a $12,436 Donation to a Veteran Military Soldier's Charity

United States Concealed Carry Association founder Tim Schmidt announced that the United States Concealed Carry Association raised $12,436 for The Fisher House, a charity which helps wounded or ill soldiers recover by providing their family with a home near the military hospital in which to stay. Incredibly, this all came about from a chance encounter with a car bumper sticker. Mr Schmidt saw a bumper sticker that read "If you can read this, thank a teacher...If you are reading this in English, thank a U.S. Solider." (PRWeb Nov 20, 2008)
