Bainbridge Island Sportsmen's Club Installs New Officers for 2009

Washington State's Bainbridge Island Sportsmen's Club installs newly elected officers to lead the club into its 80th year of serving the hunting, fishing and shooting sports community. Mississauga man fined $1,500 for careless hunting (Mississauga News)
Zlatko Lemut, 60, was convicted of careless hunting, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, discharging a firearm across a roadway, and trespassing to hunt. He is prohibited from hunting for one year.

2009 Venison Culinary Competition hosted by the Cervid Livestock Foundation (CLF) of the North American Deer Farmers Association (NADeFA)

The 2009 Venison Culinary Competition allows for each team to have three hours to plan and prepare two courses incorporating venison as the primary protein source. Ryan Laudenschlager and De'Andre Taley won First Place with their Venison Sausage and Arugula Salad in Parmesan Crisp, followed by Venison Chops with Madeira Sauce and Broccolini with Wild Mushrooms and Asiago Risotto on the side. Cash awards were given by the Cervid Livestock Foundation (CLF) at the North American Deer Farmers Association's (NADeFA) annual convention held in Lexington, Kentucky. (PRWeb Apr 30, 2009)
