Dad Just Keeps on Hunting
Many years ago, a hunter was born. He became a fine man who made good friends and was true to them, and he loved hunting more than just about everything else. That man was my father, and he passed away in 2008. His friends and I sure do miss him, especially during hunting season - but Dad didn't let a little thing like death stop him from helping an old friend bag a buck with one of his rifles, several months after his death.

Review: "Inside the Wild" Book, by L.W. Oakley

A city dweller from a non-hunting background who became a hunter, L.W. Oakley strives to describe hunting and wildlife to the masses, rather than to other hunters. This he does, in his own egotistical way. I wasn't all that pleased with this book and I found parts of it downright offensive, but it has some redeeming features. As Dad would say, "Nobody's all bad."
