Eight Species of Black Bass
Lamar Bolman with two of the kinds of black bass Did you know there are eight different species of black bass in the United States? All are related and can breed with each other, but they usually live in slightly different habitats and can be identified by biologists even if fishermen have a hard time. You have heard of largemouth and smallmouth - but how about Suwannee and Bartram's bass?
