Review: Pelican 1750 Double Rifle Hard Gun Case

If you're anything like me, you hate to pay a high price for something when you can get something about as good for less. Well, in the case of the Pelican 1750, that didn't happen. I did a good bit of comparison and arrived at the conclusion that it was about the best value I could find... but it isn't perfect.

Recipe for Deer Venison Chili

My wife can cook like nobody's business, and she never hesitates to whip up something great using the meat from my whitetail deer. Her venison chili is so delicious, I just had to share it with you - this stuff is good! If you like a lot of spicy heat, you'll want to add more hot stuff to yours... I'd rather taste the meat, cheese, and whatnot than get my mouth burned up with hot sauce. Enjoy!

You have heard of largemouth and smallmouth - but how about Suwannee and Bartram's bass?

Lorpen Hunting Socks Review

Lorpen Extreme Hunting Sock

Over the past few years, I've enjoyed using some nice Lorpen hunting socks in cold weather, and they have served me well. They're the best cold-weather socks I've ever owned, and even in my Wal-Mart boots with little or no insulation, they serve me well year after year... including last month's elk hunt in the Colorado mountains.
