My First Archery Buck

My buck, just as he lay when I found him.

One week ago today, I bagged my first archery buck! And I would have posted something about it sooner, except I've been working like mad ever since I got home from the trip.

Experience played a big part in bagging this seven-point whitetail buck, and that's mentioned in the article... so you might be able to benefit from my experience. Dad always taught me that I could learn something from anyone, no matter how dumb he might be... so maybe you'll be able to learn something from me. ;-)

Review: Red Oxx Gun Runner and Flat Dog Soft Gun Cases

Red Oxx Gun Runner Gun Case

In writing this review, I discovered that Red Oxx makes very good cases. They're a good bit tougher than any other soft case I've tried, and they look good doing it. Not to mention they're guaranteed forever! I sometimes found it useful to use these two cases on the same gun to provide extra protection, and at other times I'll use 'em separately. Sometimes I use the Flat Dog on a gun before I put it into a hard case, too. All in all, they're very useful and well made.
