Fall is a good time to catch catfish and flatheads are fun to catch and good to eat. There are a lot of ways to catch them. Give several tactics a try and pick the one that works best for you. Then send in some pictures of the flatheads you land for a picture gallery.

Review: "Inside the Wild" Book, by L.W. Oakley

Inside the Wild Book

A city dweller from a non-hunting background who became a hunter, L.W. Oakley strives to describe hunting and wildlife to the masses, rather than to other hunters. This he does, in his own egotistical way. I wasn't all that pleased with this book and I found parts of it downright offensive, but it has some redeeming features. As Dad would say, "Nobody's all bad."

More Georgia Bass Fishing Articles Catch and release bass fishing is the norm now for both tournaments and leisure fishing. Some fishermen will almost go crazy if they kill a bass.
