Destin.ZapGuide.org is Users' Connection to Everything Destin - in an Instant

The city of Destin is a vibrant and vital community, yet to many it is still a well kept secret. The renowned Fodors.com website features only three restaurants in their 2009 Destin review! Navigating typical yellow pages type directory sites also yields incomplete and inaccurate information. The creators of Destin.ZapGuide.org think Destin deserves better - particularly in light of Florida's Emerald Coast having just been named as the only continental US location among "Frommer's Top Destinations 2010". Magnum, Defined

"It's a magnum."

Okay... so what? What does that mean, anyhow?

This article ought to help folks understand what "magnum" means as it applies to guns and ammunition. For the most part, it's a marketing term that originally meant "bigger and better," but just because a cartridge has "magnum" attached to its name doesn't necessarily mean it's the best thing ever.

Winter Fishing Tips

Jackson Lake Winer Bass I like fishing in the winter and have caught some big bass this time of year. This past Sunday, January 6, 2008, I got a 8.80 pound bass in a club tournament at Jackson Lake. I posted details of the day in my daily fishing diary in the forum. The fish hit a Strike King Series 5 crankbait in Sexy Shad color. The day was fairly tough and I won the tournament with two bass weighing 12.18 pounds. My other bass was a nice 3.38 pounder and looked good before I landed the big one. Check out my winter fishing tips and share your comments and how you do in the comments section below. Also share any of your winter tips.
