Most hunters these days use scopes on their rifles, on their slug guns for deer hunting, and even on their shotguns for turkey hunting. When I started hunting, I used a peep sight - and I stuck with it for about twenty years. Eventually, I tried using a scope on my hunting rifle, and now I find it mighty hard to hunt with iron sights again.
