A Comfortable Routine

Before he left this earth, Dad and I hunted together for about 30 years. Whether we hunted the same patch of woods or miles apart, we usually shared a camp, if nothing else. We always got together when one or the other of us needed help. That's just the way it was. This article is about a morning when I got to help Dad, after many occasions of him helping me.

Today's muzzleloaders are a lot different than they were when I was starting out in life. Now, I've grown to love my modern "smokelesspole," but I still love my old charcoal-burners, too. And I'll do my best to help preserve information for the newer-but-old-timey guns, because if I don't who will? We don't want this info to just fade away. It's pretty valuable, especially if you own a Thompson/Center Seneca rifle, or one of the others that T/C has discontinued and no longer supports.
