Hunting & Fishing Commentary
Sorting Fishing Tackle
I just had my boat detailed to get ready for the state Top Six and had to take everything out of it. It is amazing how much junk and tackle I haul around! I bet my boat would run ten miles and hour faster without carrying so much extra weight.
As always I planned on sorting out everything before putting it back into the boat. As always, I started out pretty good, putting plugs back in boxes and sacks where they belong and putting the boxes into the right places. Then I hit the big bags of plastics, and as usual, just gave up and filled up a rod locker with them. Then I found three more big bags I had overlooked!

My Colorado Elk Hunt 2009

Last year, I went on my first hunt out west, and I decided to hunt for elk. I had a real good time, saw a pile of mule deer and a fair number of elk, and walked away with some new friends and a really cool experience under my belt. One thing's for sure... I don't think it will be my last elk hunt.

Who are Hunters?
Who are hunters? What do they do for wildlife, habitat, and for folks who don't even hunt? A lot. Through things like a ten-to-eleven percent excise tax on guns and ammunition, American hunters foot the bill for projects that benefit millions of non-hunters across the USA... and they're very likely your neighbors and co-workers.
